Rules: how Gates of Olympus Pop works
Gates of Olympus Pop runs on a grid of 3 reels and 5 rows. There are no fixed paylines: as soon as at least 8 matching symbols appear anywhere on the screen, they pay. The more matching symbols, the higher the payout; the values per symbol are listed in the paytable.
After every win the winning symbols disappear and new ones drop in from above (tumble or cascade). A single spin can therefore trigger several wins in a row until no new combination forms.
The return to player (RTP) of the standard version is 96.54%. That is an average over a very large number of spins, not a promise for a single session. Casinos may run versions with a lower RTP; the in-game info menu shows the value that applies.
The maximum win is capped at 25,000x your stake. At €1 per spin that would be €25,000; if a bonus reaches the cap, the round ends automatically.
Free spins, features and bonus round
Multipliers up to 1,000x can land in the base game and in the bonus and stay during a tumble sequence; at the end all values are added. Three or more scatters or super scatters in any combination trigger 15 free spins, and two more scatters in the bonus add five extra spins.
Scatter symbols trigger the free spins. How many scatters you need and how many spins you get is shown in the paytable; in most games of this kind the free spins can be retriggered during the bonus.
Multipliers boost wins in this game many times over. What matters is whether they apply to a single win only or add up during the free spins: that difference is exactly what makes the bonus round so swingy.

Gates of Olympus Pop with the BlazeBet bonus: wagering and a worked example
At BlazeBet, slots count 100% towards the welcome bonus wagering (100% up to €1,000, 15x wagering, 30 days). Gates of Olympus Pop is therefore suitable for clearing the bonus.
A worked example with real numbers: with a €100 bonus and 15x wagering on the bonus, you need to wager €1,500. At €1.00 per spin, that is 1,500 spins. With an RTP of 96.54%, the theoretical loss over that stretch is about €51.90. If BlazeBet counts deposit plus bonus, the total wager and the expected loss double.
The medium volatility gives smoother sessions, which makes Gates of Olympus Pop one of the more comfortable games for clearing a bonus.
Volatility, hit rate and budget
According to published game data, about 28.82% of spins end in a win, so on average every 3.5th spin. Many of those hits are smaller than the stake, though.
As a rough rule of thumb for a game with medium volatility: plan a budget for about 200 spins, which at €0.50 per spin is €100. That gives you a reasonable chance of seeing the bonus round. Set a limit and a time frame beforehand, and do not raise your stake to chase losses.
Faster-paced than the big original and, despite medium volatility, with high potential. Its sister in sweets style is Sweet Bonanza POP.
