Rules: how Cowboy Coins works
Instead of fixed lines, Cowboy Coins uses 2,304 ways to win: matching symbols only have to land on adjacent reels from the first reel, the row does not matter.
The return to player (RTP) of the standard version is 96.08%. That is an average over a very large number of spins, not a promise for a single session. Casinos may run versions with a lower RTP; the in-game info menu shows the value that applies.
The maximum win is capped at 30,000x your stake. At €1 per spin that would be €30,000; if a bonus reaches the cap, the round ends automatically.
Free spins, features and bonus round
The bonus has three respins that reset with every new symbol. Around the central board sit four features that can be upgraded several times: dynamite multipliers hit random symbols, money bags bring more cash prizes, safes collect prizes, and sheriff stars multiply all wins so far. The maximum win is 30,000x.
Scatter symbols trigger the free spins. How many scatters you need and how many spins you get is shown in the paytable; in most games of this kind the free spins can be retriggered during the bonus.
Multipliers boost wins in this game many times over. What matters is whether they apply to a single win only or add up during the free spins: that difference is exactly what makes the bonus round so swingy.
Money symbols carry fixed values as multiples of your stake. They only pay out when a collector symbol lands on the grid and picks them up.
In the hold-and-spin feature, money or bonus symbols stay in place while the other positions respin. Every new symbol resets the respin counter, usually to three.

Cowboy Coins with the BlazeBet bonus: wagering and a worked example
At BlazeBet, slots count 100% towards the welcome bonus wagering (100% up to €1,000, 15x wagering, 30 days). Cowboy Coins is therefore suitable for clearing the bonus.
A worked example with real numbers: with a €100 bonus and 15x wagering on the bonus, you need to wager €1,500. At €1.00 per spin, that is 1,500 spins. With an RTP of 96.08%, the theoretical loss over that stretch is about €58.80. If BlazeBet counts deposit plus bonus, the total wager and the expected loss double.
The medium volatility gives smoother sessions, which makes Cowboy Coins one of the more comfortable games for clearing a bonus.
Volatility, hit rate and budget
According to published game data, about 21.74% of spins end in a win, so on average every 4.6th spin. Many of those hits are smaller than the stake, though.
As a rough rule of thumb for a game with medium volatility: plan a budget for about 200 spins, which at €0.50 per spin is €100. That gives you a reasonable chance of seeing the bonus round. Set a limit and a time frame beforehand, and do not raise your stake to chase losses.
Plenty of potential at medium volatility; the 96.08% RTP is slightly below average. A similar respin bonus is in Great Ghosts.
