Rules: how a round of Lightning Roulette works
The game is European roulette with 37 pockets: the numbers 1 to 36 and the green zero. During betting time you place chips on single numbers, groups of numbers or outside bets such as red/black. The dealer then spins the ball, and the pocket where it comes to rest settles every bet.
Thanks to the single zero, the house edge in the classic game is 2.7%. When zero comes up, all outside bets lose.
| Bet | Payout |
|---|---|
| Single number (straight up) | 35:1 |
| Two numbers (split) | 17:1 |
| Three numbers (street) | 11:1 |
| Four numbers (corner) | 8:1 |
| Six numbers (line) | 5:1 |
| Dozen / column | 2:1 |
| Red/black, even/odd, 1–18/19–36 | 1:1 |
What makes Lightning Roulette different
The lightning multipliers range from 50x to 500x and only apply to bets on a single number. To keep the game balanced, a normal single number without lightning pays less than the usual 35:1 in Lightning Roulette. Outside bets such as red/black pay as normal. Depending on the bet, the RTP is about 97.1% to 97.3%.
