Rules: how a round of Lightning Blackjack works
The aim is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards count their face value, picture cards count 10, and the ace counts 1 or 11. An ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards make a blackjack.
After your first two cards you decide: take a card (hit), stay (stand), double down or split a pair. The dealer draws by fixed rules until reaching at least 17. If you go over 21 you lose immediately, even if the dealer busts as well.
| Bet | Payout |
|---|---|
| Regular win | 1:1 |
| Blackjack | 3:2 |
| Insurance (dealer shows an ace) | 2:1 |
| Tie (push) | stake returned |
What makes Lightning Blackjack different
With every bet you pay a lightning fee equal to your main bet, so your stake per round doubles. If you win a hand, a multiplier of 2x to 25x is awarded depending on your total, which applies to your win in the next round. The other rules match the classic game with eight decks.
